05Incidents
What went wrong, and why.
Posted while they are happening, with the actual cause rather than "elevated error rates".
Elevated email delivery latency (EU-West)
Outbound email from the London region is queuing for up to four minutes because of an upstream provider. Delivery is succeeding; no messages have been dropped.
Scheduled core router upgrade (Frankfurt)
Planned maintenance completed forty minutes ahead of the window with no customer-facing downtime.
cPanel login delays
Authentication slowed for 18 minutes. Root cause was a database connection pool ceiling that had not been raised after the last capacity increase. Pool size doubled.
CDN purge propagation lag
Cache purges took up to 40 minutes to propagate instead of seconds. No downtime. Propagation is back to baseline.
